Creating Remaining P6 Professional Database Objects
To create the remaining database objects:
- Log in to the Oracle database as admuser (or use your custom administrative user name if you created one).
- If you changed the default PMDB_NDX1 tablespace name and privuser user name, go to \database\scripts\install\PPM_<release_level> and update the orppm_admuser.sql script with your custom names.
- Execute orppm_admuser.sql.
- Log in to the Oracle database as privuser (or use your custom privileged user name if you created one).
- If you changed the default admuser user name, go to \database\scripts\source\PPM_<release_level> and update the orppm_privuser.sql script with your custom name.
- Execute orppm_privuser.sql.
- Log in to the Oracle database as pubuser (or use your custom public user name if you created one).
- If you changed the default admuser user name, go to \database\scripts\source\PPM_<release_level> and update the orppm_pubuser.sql script with your custom name.
- Execute orppm_pubuser.sql.
- Log in to the Oracle database as bgjobuser (or use your custom background job user name if you created one).
- If you changed the default admuser user name, go to \database\scripts\source\PPM_<release_level> and update the orppm_bguser.sql script with your custom name.
- Execute orppm_bguser.sql.
- Log in to the Oracle database as SYSTEM or your custom DBA user.
- If you changed any of the following, go to \database\scripts\source\PPM_<release_level> and update the orppm_reset_priv.sql script with your custom names:
- Tablespace Names
- PMDB_DAT1
- PMDB_NDX1
- PMDB_LOB1
- User Names
- Execute orppm_reset_priv.sql.
