Using XER Parser Excel file to view the contents of an XER export

An XER file is a proprietary text-based data format used by Oracle Primavera P6 Professional and EPPM to export, import, and back up project schedules.
For troubleshooting the XER import problems you can download and use the XLSM file in this article to view the contents of an XER in Excel.
This file would work on both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Download XER File Parser

This file includes VB macros.
If you download it on a Windows PC, Windows may block its macros because it came from the internet. To fix that, right-click the file, choose Properties, tick Unblock and click OK, then open it again.
